About me

A specialist trainer and academic researcher

I have been very fortunate to have lived in several countries in Europe and Africa. I left my native Poland to pursue my fascination with cultures and languages in my twenties.

My academic career took me to London, where I was fortunate to pursue my doctorate degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and experience unprecedented diversity among students and instructors.

Ethiopia became the focus of my academic study and later a place where I lived, worked and continued to explore aspects of culture that fascinate me.

This lived experience in addition to my academic research and teaching have equipped me with rich personal insights into  how culture  affects all aspects of life.  I saw first-hand how people experience the world in their unique ways, adhere to different values and rules, that shape their expectations, ambitions and realities.
